Purchasing Supervisor
About the Challenge
Are you someone who is analytical, organized, and capable of managing procurement processes efficiently? As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring that all purchasing activities run smoothly, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company procedures.
In this role, you will supervise procurement activities, coordinate with vendors, and ensure that goods and services required by various departments are available on time. You will also monitor purchasing documentation and vendor performance to support operational efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring accuracy in purchasing administration.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and purchasing documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for procurement monitoring and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily purchasing activities to ensure procurement requests are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Review and monitor purchase requests from internal departments to ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality goods, and timely delivery.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate vendor performance and support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and cost control.
