As a Pastry Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing pastry operations, ensuring product quality and consistency, developing menus, and leading the pastry team to deliver excellent culinary standards.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pastry operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
Strong mastery of pastry techniques (breads, cakes, desserts, plating, and basic bakery production).
Experience in menu development, cost control, and kitchen operations management.
Strong leadership, discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to hygiene & food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily pastry kitchen operations to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Develop and innovate pastry menus in line with brand concept and customer expectations.
Control food cost, portioning, and ingredient usage to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP).
Train, supervise, and evaluate pastry team performance to maintain high standards.
